UAB Health System expands ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓÆµ to cardiac, thoracic and gynecology-oncology

Dr. Daniel Chu, UAB Health System’s ERAS Medical Director, was recently awarded a University of Alabama grant of $210,000 for his ongoing ERAS research, which will expand UAB’s partnership with ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓÆµ. Using ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓÆµ, UAB Medicine provides patients with a digital experience through which they can access information about their surgeries via cell phone, tablet or computer – from surgery preparation through the recovery process. UAB first implemented ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓÆµ for Colorectal surgery, and will now expand to the cardiac, thoracic and gynecological oncology..
